6 Days Serengeti Honeymoon Safari

6 Days Serengeti Honeymoon Safari

Imagine the perfect honeymoon: breathtaking vistas, heart-pounding wildlife encounters, romantic dinners, and luxurious camps. Our carefully crafted safari offers all this and more, including a stay at the renowned Ngorongoro Crater Lodge and a luxurious escape to a Serengeti camp away from the crowds, complete with your private plunge pool overlooking the sweeping plains.

Day 1: Ngorongoro Crater Rim

Your journey begins as you land at JRO airport, where our team will assist you with your domestic flight. Depending on your arrival time, we can arrange a pre-night stay in Arusha; please contact us for options.

You’ll arrive at Lake Manyara airstrip and meet your local guide, who will transfer you to the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge. The scenic drive takes approximately 1.5 hours, allowing you time to admire the panoramic views from the Crater rim.

Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, often described as the “game lodge at the top of the world,” boasts an unrivaled setting between the stunning Crater and remarkable architectural design, creating a realm of pure fantasy. Whether you’re watching the Maasai warriors’ chants as the sun sets over the game-rich Crater or indulging in a wine tasting experience, your personal butler will cater to your every need, ensuring your honeymoon is nothing short of magical.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Rim

The iconic Ngorongoro Crater, with its nearly three million years of history, shelters one of the world’s most magnificent wildlife havens. Within its rim, you’ll find protected endangered black rhinos, giant tusked elephants, prowling male lions, and bustling flamingo populations at the soda lakes.

Today, you’ll embark on a game viewing adventure within the Ngorongoro Crater, and later, you can enjoy additional activities such as cultural tours, hikes, or massages. Your meals and local drinks are included during your stay.

Day 3: Eastern Serengeti

After an early breakfast, you’ll be transferred back to the Manyara airstrip for your flight to the Serengeti. Upon arriving in Seronera, you’ll meet your guide and embark on a scenic game drive to the park’s tranquil eastern section. This area offers a serene escape from the bustling Central Serengeti and is known for its abundant big cat populations.

The Serengeti, which means “endless plains” in the Maasai language, is celebrated as one of the world’s most iconic wilderness areas. Lemala Nanyukie Lodge is perfectly situated, offering breathtaking views of the endless plains. The camp rests amid a grassy savanna dotted with rocky kopjes and shaded by ancient acacia trees. Wildlife often roams nearby, providing a unique blend of relaxation and adventure. Unwind in your tent with a private plunge pool, taste delicious meals, and watch the sunset and stars emerge in the evening.

Days 4-5: Eastern Serengeti

Savor two full days of thrilling game viewing in the Serengeti. Your expert guide will help you plan your activities, and if desired, a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. Immerse yourself in the pristine wilderness and reconnect with nature, awakening your senses to the beauty of the bush.

This area serves as a vital corridor for the Great Migration during its return from the Mara to the southern Serengeti (November to December) and, at times, in May and June when the herds spread throughout the central region on their northward journey.

Opportunities to add a walking safari or a rhino experience are available during your stay; please contact us for options and prices.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included
