Tour Plan:
Day 1: Machame Gate → Machame Camp
Begin your trek through lush rainforest with a steady climb to Machame Camp.
Day 2: Machame Camp → Shira Camp
Ascend into moorland with expansive views. Reach Shira Camp on the Shira Plateau.
Day 3: Shira Camp → Lava Tower → Barranco Camp
Climb to Lava Tower for acclimatization, then descend to Barranco Camp. This improves altitude adjustment.
Day 4: Barranco Camp → Karanga Camp
Climb the Barranco Wall and continue through scenic ridges and valleys to Karanga Camp.
Day 5: Karanga Camp → Barafu Camp
Trek through alpine desert to Barafu Camp, your base for the summit attempt.
Day 6: Barafu Camp → Uhuru Peak → Mweka Camp
Start your summit climb at midnight. Reach Uhuru Peak at sunrise, then descend to Mweka Camp.
Day 7: Mweka Camp → Mweka Gate
Descend through rainforest to Mweka Gate, receive your certificate, and transfer back to your hotel.
