The Marangu Route, often referred to as the “Coca-Cola Route,” is one of the most established and accessible paths to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. It is the only route that offers hut accommodation instead of camping, making it a comfortable option for climbers.
This six-day itinerary includes an acclimatization day, improving your chances of reaching Uhuru Peak at 5,895 meters.
Begin at Marangu Gate after registration and briefing. Trek through dense rainforest with chances to see colobus monkeys and birdlife.
