This four-day safari combines both camping and lodge experiences, taking you through three of northern Tanzania’s most iconic wildlife destinations: Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and Serengeti National Park.
Traveling in a custom safari vehicle with a pop-up roof, you will be accompanied by an experienced driver-guide and supported by a dedicated team to ensure a smooth and rewarding journey. This itinerary offers a balance of adventure, scenic landscapes, and exceptional wildlife viewing across Tanzania’s northern circuit.
Your safari begins with a pickup from your hotel in Arusha. After a short introduction to your guide and chef, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its varied landscapes and impressive concentration of wildlife.
Enjoy a game drive through the park, where large herds of elephants, along with zebras, wildebeest, and other species, gather especially around the Tarangire River. The park’s iconic baobab trees add to its distinctive scenery. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park.

After breakfast, travel through the highlands of Karatu and enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where the landscape gradually opens into the plains of the Serengeti.
Arrive in the Seronera region, one of the most wildlife-rich areas of the park, supported by the Seronera River. After lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive, offering opportunities to spot predators and large herbivore herds.

Enjoy a relaxed morning in the Serengeti, followed by an early lunch. Later, depart for the Ngorongoro highlands with scenic views along the way.
Arrive at the crater rim in the evening, where you can take in the impressive views before dinner and overnight at your lodge.

After breakfast, descend more than 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. The crater floor supports a high density of wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, and a variety of predators such as lions and hyenas. With some luck, you may also spot the elusive leopard.
Visit Lake Magadi, known for its flamingos and other birdlife, before enjoying a picnic lunch within the crater.
In the afternoon, ascend to the rim and return to Arusha. Airport drop-off can be arranged if required.
