Fly from Zanzibar to Kogatende Airstrip in the northern Serengeti. Upon arrival, meet your guide and begin a full-day game drive in the Kogatende and Bologonja regions.
This area is one of the best locations to witness the Great Migration, particularly near the Mara River where herds gather and prepare for dramatic crossings into Kenya’s Masai Mara. Large numbers of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles move across the plains in search of fresh grazing.

After breakfast, continue exploring the northern Serengeti, a quieter and less crowded region known for its open landscapes and high wildlife concentration.
